Part-time Classroom Studies

Part-time Classroom Studies is the academic and administrative unit for part-time credit students taking classroom courses on campus at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Enrolling through Part-time Classroom Studies allows you to meet educational needs regardless of whether you have previously taken college-level courses or have earned a college degree.

Admission to the University is required. Admission allows you to participate in the same courses as degree-seeking students and share the same intellectual challenges and rewards. Registration for day and evening courses is permissible for a maximum of eight credit hours per semester. All courses are credit-granting and will become part of your permanent record at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
