Fees for use of the Friday Center are reviewed annually to ensure the recovery of operating costs, to maintain the facility, and to provide for the future replacement of furnishings and equipment, enabling us to offer high-quality service to users. Minimum occupancy has been established for each meeting room. If your group does not meet the minimum occupancy for the requested room, a surcharge will be assessed.
If you would like to use the Center for continuing education programs that are three hours or less, our limited service rates may meet your needs. Limited service consists of:
Limited service does not include the refreshment breaks provided for groups paying on a per-person basis. Limited-service groups requiring food and beverage service can make special arrangements with the Center Caterer.
If your program requires use of the Center at night, a special activity fee may be assessed. The fee begins at 10 pm.

If you are holding a continuing education program at the Center, there is a special rental fee to use a reception area. Arrangements for reception space must be made with the Conference Services Manager.
Receptions may be held in conjunction with educational programs sponsored by University departments and held at locations other than the Friday Center. However, space cannot be confirmed until sixty (60) days before the event.
The Friday Center is frequently used by several groups at the same time; luncheon service is generally buffet style in the dining room for all groups using the Center.
If your program is being held at the Center and requires an exclusive area for a breakfast, luncheon, or dinner, there is a special rental fee for a private dining area.
Arrangements for food and beverage functions must be made with the Conference Services Manager.
Catered functions may be held in conjunction with educational programs sponsored by University departments and held at locations other than the Friday Center. However, space cannot be confirmed until sixty (60) days before the event.
If your program requires an exhibit area, space is available to vendors for a per-day fee. The fee includes a 6' x 10' space, a table with cover, two chairs, and access to electricity. The fee may be higher if other equipment or services are required.
Center management reserves the right to limit the size and number of exhibits based on total group size and impact on other groups meeting at the Center.
