Smart Classrooms
Several Friday Center meeting rooms are equipped with elegantly designed instruction technology. Using a touch panel built into the lectern, presenters can operate the LCD projector, computer, DVD/VHS player, and document camera, as well as control audio and light levels.
Computer Lab
A meeting room with 25 workstations with direct Internet connections can be set up with your own computers or with the Center’s laptops. This room has an instructor’s workstation that connects to a ceiling-mounted projector.
Videoconferencing
The Friday Center is capable of interactive videoconferencing to any place in the world. Our technicians will work with you to explore the possibilities of videoconferencing to expand and enhance the scope of your program.
Recording
Technology staff can video record your conference, using multiple cameras to capture audience, presenters, and their presentations. Audio recording is also available for playback, transcription, podcasting, or webstreaming.
Control Room
The Friday Center features an audiovisual control room from which our technicians monitor and can control audiovisual functions in meeting rooms. Timely assistance helps to ensure your conference runs smoothly.
Webstreaming
The Friday Center is equipped to handle live and/or on-demand webstreaming.
